About Natalie
In her 40s, Natalie embarked on a profound journey into the world of yoga, a decision that marked the beginning of a life-altering odyssey.
Every year, Natalie embarks on a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga, practicing under the esteemed guidance of Paramaraguru R. Sharath Jois in Mysore, India.
This annual sojourn is not just a physical practice but a spiritual immersion, a commitment to deepening her understanding of the ancient tradition.
Natalie stands as a testament to the transformative power of yoga, having embraced its teachings not only as a dedicated student but also as a passionate teacher.
In 2022, Natalie received the blessings from R. Sharath Jois to teach both Full Primary and Intermediate series and had the privilege to assist him for one entire month at the Sharath Yoga Center in Mysore, India on her last trip.
Her dedication to continuous growth and learning is reflected not only in her personal journey but also in her teaching philosophy.
Natalie has recently launched a Mysore program in her hometown of Phnom Penh in Cambodia, offering a sacred space for students to delve into the traditional practice. Her classes embody the spirit of Mysore, fostering individualized attention and a supportive community.
Born in Cambodia and having left during the tumultuous years of the genocide, Natalie felt a deep calling to return and reconnect with her roots. For her, yoga became a means of not only personal healing but also a platform to share the transformative power of Ashtanga with the Khmer people.
Today, Natalie is the sole Level 2 authorized Ashtanga Yoga teacher native from Cambodia. She is currently spending her time traveling and spreading the method between her home in Dubai and Phnom Penh.
Join Natalie on this incredible journey of self-discovery and holistic well-being. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your yoga journey, Natalie welcomes you to explore the transformative practice of Ashtanga Yoga.
